The festival is a first for the friendly city with a star studded line up including internationally renowned jazz guitarist George Benson and South Africa’s very own legend, Hugh Masekela. Other artists set to perform on the day includes Freshly Ground, Jamali with special guest Loyiso Bala, GoodLuck, Goldfish, Prime Circle, Fohloza, New Afro Teens, and the Nelson Mandela Bay Big Band featuring Feya Faku.

The festival is set to become an annual event that plans to showcase what Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape has to offer as an international music venue.

The festival events include a free community concert on Vuyisile Mini Square (Market Square)on Friday, 13 May 2011. Artist performing at the Free Concert include Hugh Masekela, Goldfish, Belinda Davids, MoJazz and Down by Law. Various Training and Development takes place at the City Hall on Thursday and Friday.
